Glest unit index (image heavy)

Yesterday I was bored so I decided to make some cards for all of the Glest units.

I plan on doing all of the factions which are:
a) Magitech compatible
b) of a good quality standard

Factions which still need to be completed are:
Indians
Norsemen
Persian
Egypt
Elves
Dwarves
Undead
Woodsmen
Japanese

Probably never... They're just images after all, and what's the point of a "trading card" without a game for it?

Hmm they look pretty good...don't know if you should put all images here though, I think somehow there would be a better alternative way...but I'm not sure, for now.
Also, it seems like you might need to re-upload the Airship and the Catapult. Maybe the images were corrupt, or when you loaded them...?

This seems like the kind of thing that could be automated with a little script pretty easily, as long as you provide it with the images.

you missed a magitech compatible faction:elementals.
He can choose which faction to make cards for... and technically a lot of factions are magitech compatible. Also, elementals was just a retextured faction with some new defense buildings, if I remember correctly.

yeah i know i was just putting one out there that i like

and wciow if you want some help with these i am making a card game quite similar to this (but it is going slow) so i could postpone mine and work on this if you want me too. :)

The cards are very cool i think that people would buy them if there was a good marketing plan like advertising and promoting. If you guys plan on selling them you should send a letter to  YouTube to promote a video explaining what the cards were.

Those cards are how I want the context menu on the right to look when you select a unit!

the only missing thing would be the descriptive texts on the cards. having those in an XML-file (preferable the units XML-file itself) would be cool because then it could also be put into the generated unit pages.

Actually, the information is very much possible. GAE now has support for tooltips on mods, and the magitech that comes bundled with GAE will have those available. Of course, they are a bit more complex (a lot, actually) since the tooltips are located in a separate language file, and are referenced from by "tip" tags in the unit's XML, but generally located on the command where units are created (such as build commands and produce commands) instead of the actual unit's XML.
