Map "One King Rules Them All"
« on: 2 September 2011, 22:01:08 »
I made a new 64x64 map called One King Rules Them All. It is designed for 4 players. I hope you will like it. :)

Updated: You can download the map directly from MG > Game Mods.

Sadly, that looks like a dozen other maps. The concept of a simple X joining all bases is rather overused.

Well, I did not see a lot of maps like this one, so I created my own (my first map btw).
Is there a list of created maps, e.g. on the wiki or somewhere? It is not easy to browse the category, there are lots of other threads which does not contain a new map.

Maybe it would be better to create a special category for published maps (and tilesets too).

List of Maps  |  List of Techtrees/Factions  |  List of Tilesets  (technically, scenarios have a list too, but very few scenarios are available standalone, so it's a pretty short one)

Is the list of maps regularly updated, or do I have to add my map there myself?

OK. Is there  difference between Glest and Megaglest maps? Should I leave a note that the map was created via the MG map editor?

GBM = Supports up to four players
MGM = Supports up to eight players

Should I leave a note that the map was created via the MG map editor?
No, as that makes no difference. Both the GAE and MG editors are near clones of eachother and support the same types of maps. The wiki assumes that all users are using either MG or GAE, as the original Glest is defunct.

very fun to play! and ... in the MG internal mod download section now.
Try Megaglest! Improved Engine / New factions / New tilesets / New maps / New scenarios
